Hi there

I made a script , The Magic TimeToy-Script

and I found out that its possible to integrate the Windows default beep in a loop.

Now it should be possible to play other .wavs too, like in the Rendering Menue.

I hope someone shares the trick! :idea:

Hello folks!! I have not had occasion to say HELLO in a long long time. I am glad to see this forum up and running and I am sad to have seen the mail list become a facet of internet history.

Coming here today, what caught my interest off the top was this new script. :) IF any remember me from "before" they would I hope recall I once liked to script and enjoyed animations. I still do though I am pursuing those from a different angle these days.

WELL FOLKS I have to tell you. As animations go this one is actually pretty darn cool. :) I played with it a bit, added some extra bubble to it, tweaked up the Z parameters some here and there and LOW I HAD A BEEPING CLOCK.... beeping yes I said beeping and no that is not self censoring :) This clock BEEBS out the time intervals IN TIME with the system clock! Stopping the script give you hrs/mins/secs of the moment you have stopped it, freezing in the flame the time of its generation!!!

Now, for many this is just going to be COOL AS HECK, for others its going to be darn intriguing. There are some new manners of thinking in this script and for those that script they are worth looking over and seeing how they can be further expanded or applied in inspired works. One day there just may be a resource package of wav files for use in Beeping Scripts :)

Yeah I found out the commented "sndplaysound" command in the script should play wavs other than the system beep but i could not get work with my Delphi skills.

The idea is to play different sounds to different loops to generate real time art.
