questions about scripting

Postby fractals » Mon Nov 14, 2011 3:12 am

First, great forum!

I have a question about the random batch at the start of the program apophysis 7x. Does anyone have a script of the random batch at the startup of the program(7x)? I think it is called autoexec.asc.

Another question about scripting: There is an option of "generate a script from flame". Is it possible to input this script(of my own flame) into a batch(asc) file so that i create several flames in the view at the leftside of the programme(7x)?

Thanks in advance, fractals

Thanks for the reply!
the scripts look good, but get an error "unknown method or routine:'random_variables'.
Source position:... .... .....

Is this script compatible to apophysis 7x?

In the zip file you'll see a file called Functions_Aux.asc, you need to unzip that file somewhere (prolly your script folder) and then make it the "Scripting function library" in Apo.
Go to tools/settings/enviroment and you'll see an option called "Scripting function library", click the open button and point it at your Function_Aux file.
And yep it works in 7x as thats what Im using to.
