What are the RULES and GUIDELINES ?????

Postby Mick » Thu Mar 17, 2011 9:12 am

Apparently if someone posts messages using any of the normal features that are part of phpBB (such as Bold, Font Size, Italic, Underscore, etc.) then Mark Townsend takes it upon himself to modify that posting to his own particular way of doing things.

If people are NOT going to be allowed to use these features, then there should be some form of RULES and GUIDELINES established, or even better, just change what this forum is allowed to use within the phpBB application. The latter would mean less "administrative" modifications of people's postings (or maybe it is just some people that have this done to them).

I would have thought a topic for RULES and GUIDELINES of postings would have been established before starting a forum, instead of going in afterwards to change what people do.

That's a good point Mick, although if I'd tried to think of everything before going live it would never have happened. I'll work on getting some rules up today.

EDIT: By the way, you should probably read the Terms of Service when you register...

You agree that “Apophysis.org” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit.
